Guido Walcher Director, Quality Intellectual Property Guido Walcher is senior specialist at Telit Communications. From 1988 as SW protocol and digital signal processing engineer designed many user terminals in 1G (RTMS, ETCAS, CT1), 2G (GSM and DCS) and dual mode system (GLOBALSTAR). From 2000 he is responsible of Intellectual Property, managing the intangible assets of the Company, and from 2005 he is also responsible of Quality (Telit Emea).Mr Walcher is an electronic engineer, graduated at Trieste University, qualified as researcher in Computer Science and in this role participates in interdisciplinary groups to research projects. For more than 15 yeas, he also cooperated as teaching fellow with Business College, and Master School, of University of Trieste.Acts also as project coordinator, in the past within EU FP5 in the area of Location Based Services (LBS), and in FP7 framework in logistic segment where m2m technology are applied; he also follows standardization processes in ETSI/3GPP. Actually is involved in the planning of relevant long term research projects in the segment of Smart Cities and of the application of Galileo location system to the M2M road segment.
