Furio Cascetta is full professor at the Faculty of Engineering of the Second University of Naples. He teaches:
Fundamentals of Measurements, Environmental Measurements and Monitoring Systems, Applied Thermodynamics. He
is author of more than 100 publications, both papers in scientific journals and books.
He is an expert of measurement engineering, remote control and supervisory systems (SCADA) in supply and
distribution networks. About measurement sensors, he have deeply studied and investigated on flowmetering devices,
both for liquids and gases.
He studies also domotics and building automation systems.
Recently, he works also on the automatic identification and data collection systems (AIDC).
He is the Chairman of WINCOMERS, the World Institute for Network COntrol and MEter Reading Systems.
He collaborates with many scientific journal on the topic of interest.
