Matteo Rulli

I’m Strategic Marketing and Product Manager for M2M Solutions at Abodata, Italy.
My core technical competencies include expertise in Service Oriented Architecture, Message Oriented
Middleware and enterprise integration patterns. During several years of hands-on activities spent as a consultant
for major companies I developed an energetic and positive problem solving attitude and a
life-saving, strictly-rational software development methodology.
In the last years, I focused on M2M solutions, in particular on WPAN and WSN and I’ve been leading the
development of Plat-One, a Service Delivery Platform that leverages many state-of-the-art technologies in the
fields of SOA, big-data persistence technologies and modular execution frameworks.
The challenge my team has to face is turning visionary technologies into working software services that could
be integrated in Plat-One. Ever-deepening and unflagging technology scouting activity helps me to maintain
our work on the bleeding edge of technology and sustain ceaseless excitement of my team.
I graduated in Physics at University of Genoa, Italy, but I soon jumped over the fence to commit myself to
computer science. In my free time I love running and hiking.
